Welcome to the 16th annual LIDS Student Conference. This conference is an opportunity for students to present their results to their peers as well as the community-at-large. The goal of the conference is to foster communication and help spur collaboration between the various research groups at MIT. This year, more than 20 students will give talks.
The LIDS Student Conference also has a strong tradition of exceptional invited speakers from various backgrounds and disciplines sharing their research and perspectives. This year, we are honored to have with us the following guest speakers:
- John Dowdle, Vice President for Engineering, Draper Lab
- Ilya Kolmanovsky, Univ. of Michigan
- Costis Maglaras, Columbia
- Vahid Tarokh, Harvard
- Martin Wainwright, UC Berkeley
