Welcome to the 31st Annual Sanjoy K. Mitter LIDS Student Conference!
The annual LIDS Student Conference is a student-organized, student-run conference that provides an opportunity for graduate students and postdocs to present their research to peers as well as to the community at large. This year, we are delighted to welcome four distinguished plenary speakers accompanying student sessions across LIDS research domains, including: Control & Dynamical Systems, Inference & Information, Optimization & Robotics, and Efficient & Fair learning.
This year's conference is special: It has been 31 years since the late Sanjoy K. Mitter founded the student conference. There will be a dinner reception following the first day of the conference, a social hour with hors d'oeuvres and fine beverages following the second day of the conference, and a debate on a timely, hotly contested research topic. Additionally, we are excited to feature industrial booths, conference swag, and awards for outstanding student presenters.
